Health Education & Behavior is a peer-reviewed healthcare journal published by SAGE. It publishes original peer-reviewed articles that examine social and behavioral change as they affect health status and quality of life. It also examines the processes of planning, implementing, managing, and assessing health education and social-behavioral interventions. Article types include empirical research, case studies, program evaluations, literature reviews, theories of health behavior and status, and strategies to improve social and behavioral health. It is an official publication of the Society for Public Health Education. Regular journal features include Perspectives, which discusses complex issues, and Practice Notes, which provides overviews of innovative health education programs.
